Rive Nord is run by KODE ECOM, ABN 91 332 639 936. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can reach us about it.
We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, billing address, email address, phone number and order history.
We never see or store your card details. Your payment is handled directly by our payment provider.
If you create an account we keep your login details and your preferences.
If you subscribe to our emails we keep your email address and your first name.
When you write to us we keep the conversation so we can follow up.
When you browse, your device sends technical information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, time on site and where you came from. We only collect this with your consent, apart from what the site needs to work.
Why we use it
To take your order, deliver it, handle returns and refunds, and answer your questions.
To keep the records we are required by law to keep.
To send you marketing emails, only if you asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To prevent payment fraud.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information.
Shopify hosts the store and processes orders. Our payment providers handle payments. Our logistics partners and carriers receive only what they need to pack and deliver your parcel. Our email, analytics and advertising tools, including Google and Meta, receive only what their job requires, and only where you have consented.
We may have to disclose information to a court or a government body when the law requires it.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our suppliers are outside Australia. When your order is packed in an overseas warehouse, your name and delivery address are sent there so the parcel can be shipped. Our analytics and advertising tools may process data in the United States and elsewhere. We take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled with care wherever it goes.
How long we keep it
Order records and invoices: 7 years, to meet Australian record keeping rules.
Inactive customer accounts: deleted after 3 years with no contact.
Marketing contacts: deleted 3 years after your last contact with us.
Cookies: up to 13 months.
Children
This store is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information. Tell us if you think we have and we will delete it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@maisonrivenord.com. We reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

The site is encrypted end to end. Payments are handled by certified providers. No system is perfect, so please never send sensitive information through an unsecured channel.
